The Newington

The Newington Hotel sits proud aside the "Royal Approach", the historical entrance route to medieval York.

Originally built as a terrace of three Georgian Town Houses; with stabling and outhouses, The Newington enjoys panoramic views over the old Knavesmire Common part of, which forms the famous York Racecourse, often referred to by seasoned race-goers as "The Ascot of the North".
